Our Story

Founded in Christchurch in 2016, Feary Group started as a company solely focused on drainage services. As our business evolved and our reputation grew, we saw an opportunity to offer more. We recognised a gap in the market for a company that could manage everything drainage and earthworks under one roof, serving residential, commercial, civil, and rural sectors.

 

We now offer a full range of services, taking control of projects right through to construction readiness, delivered by our team of skilled professionals. This seamless, integrated service eliminates the need for multiple contractors, providing clients with a more consistent, efficient and cohesive solution.  With a strong team of consultants and experienced staff supporting us, we are fully resourced and equipped to meet all your needs, no matter the size or complexity of the project.

Managing Director

Charlie is a passionate, hands-on manager with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Actively involved in all of Feary Group's projects, he provides valuable support to both management and field staff. Charlie's primary focus is on building and maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing project pricing. He also prioritises client and staff satisfaction, fostering a growth mindset that benefits everyone involved.

Drainage Manager

With over 12 years of experience, Kale has a strong background in drainage across all Councils within the region. His expertise makes him a versatile and capable Drainage Manager, ensuring projects are compliant and efficient. Kale’s hands-on approach allows him to effectively coordinate and oversee the installation of essential drainage and utilities infrastructure, maintaining high standards of quality and performance.​​​​

Trucking Manager

Troy brings over 15 years of experience in trucking, along with qualifications as a mechanic and Class 5 Truck Driver. As Trucking Manager, he oversees all trucking operations, ensuring efficient material movement and timely coordination of the fleet. Troy also manages the fleet's repairs and maintenance, working closely with the Managers and suppliers to ensure the seamless execution of projects.

Blake is highly experienced and has an in-depth knowledge and extensive experience within the Civil Construction Industry.  His knowledge and attention to detail makes him an important part of the team.


Blake manages activities as a QS, and assists with programming and forecast management to align all information with the forward workload of the team.
